C’est Ridore’ is a small earrings design brand from Miami with roots in Haiti. And the earrings are fabulous. Even the Cartier brand had to start somewhere and that’s the beauty about Jewelrista as a jewelry design magazine…
Meet jewelry designer Krystal Antoine. Krystal was born and raised in Miami, FL, by immigrant, Haitian parents. According to the bio on her website, although they directed her toward the path of medicine, which was their profession of choice, she honored her creative spirit and received a degree in Fashion Design.
Affirming her own gifts and passion, Antoine has lived in New York, Miami, and Atlanta, searching for the outlet that best showcased her talents. As with many artists, she remained steadfast in her aspirations and later created C’est Ridore’, a jewelry line that speaks to women with discriminating taste, regardless of age, economic status, or cultural background.
Krystal Antoine’s life experiences are captured in her intricate jewelry art. Each handmade piece represents her limitless potential and her intent to disallow anyone attempting to define who she is or who she should be. With C’est Ridore’, she wants to remind women everywhere that, like her, their beauty lies, not in the opinion of others, but simply in their own perfect imperfections.
C’est Ridore’ is a collection of exquisite earrings designed for the dynamic, confident woman of distinction. Named after the designer’s mother, this jewelry represents someone who is not afraid to be her authentic self by recognizing and saying, “I am imperfectly perfect.”
The collection, sculpted by designer Krystal Antoine, is handmade with coiled, copper wire and is influenced by women who embrace their individuality with vigor and intention. Created to enhance the beauty of its host, C’est Ridore’ gains its inspiration from a myriad of life’s honest moments, displaying its versatility by being stylishly worn in today’s corporate environment, a black tie event, as well as a day of playful leisure.
“When I created C’est Ridore’, I wanted to develop original jewelry art that spoke to girls and women across generations and nationalities,” states Designer Krystal Antoine. “I’d like to inspire them to embrace who they are because none of us is perfect, recognizing that there is absolutely no need to conform,” she continues. “‘Expensive’ doesn’t automatically equal impressive style; Self-expression does.”
C’est Ridore’ is a luxurious, yet affordable, jewelry line, as each piece is molded by hand. Due to its delicate nature, it displays unique features making it perfect…in its simple imperfections. Timeless and elegant best describe the jewelry and the women who wear it.
